Online Support and Training for Teachers / School Staff
This 2.5 hrs training will support teachers and school staffs in learning about the In Focus SEL Curriculum and about how to implement, teach, and model it effectively.
The length of the training is 2.5 hrs. There are five videos of approximately 30 minutes each.
If you already have the In Focus SEL teacher book, CONGRATULATIONS! In Focus contains quick, daily SEL lessons that are brain based, effective, and easily fit into the school day.

Biography of the Teacher of this Course: Tom McSheehy taught elementary and middle school for 21 years and has been a licensed social worker / family therapist for 29 years. He has worked with SEL in schools for 39 years and has been an SEL presenter and coach for 26 years.
Tom has learned the critical factors necessary for SEL to succeed and flourish in a classroom, school, or school district. Besides a good SEL curriculum, the most important factor is ongoing support and training for teachers.
Tom is the author of the SEL teacher book, In Focus:Improving Social Emotional Intelligence, One Day at a Time.
